At this time we do not use Android and Google Play's auto-renewal options for subscriptions. If you are trying to purchase a new subscription and go through the upgrade screen, you may have encountered an error asking you to consult your system administrator. Below are the steps required to renew your subscription in order to continue using your Avenza Maps Plus or Pro account.
- Open Avenza Maps
- Go to Settings > Account Details
- Log out of your existing subscription (even if it's expired)
- Go back to Settings > Upgrade Account
- Select the desired account level, and proceed with payment through Google Play
You will be issued a new subscription code (20-alphanumeric code), which you should keep in a safe location should you ever need to transfer devices or re-enter your subscription information into the app. As long as you are renewing your subscription using the same Google Play account as the previous one, any remaining time on the old subscription will be added to the new one. If you are using a different Google Play account, any time that was remaining will be forfeited.
