Using Avenzamaps prefix scheme for iOS to auto import pdfs from URLs into Avenza

I'm creating a web page with download links with maps for Avenza using the avenzamaps://mypdflink.pdf approach and it works fine on Android, but iOS not so much.

On iOS, Avenza will open briefly, then the browser jumps back open asking me to tap at least 3 more times to get the file into Avenza.  This only happens with some files (we are using box.com to host our PDFs).  

Appreciate if anyone has found a workaround for this issue.

  Hi John,

  Sorry to hear you are having problems importing maps via the URL schema on iOS.  If possible, can you please share with us some examples of URLs that are working vs. some that aren't so that we can look into this better?  If possible, can you send them to us via our contact form in the upper right corner?
