Pick List Problems
I'm doing a field trip with local high school, so using older tablets (Samsung Tab Active2's) with Avenza Maps version 5.3.3(214) Build 2 ARCH32. I've imported an older KML of an attribute schema, set it as active and made sure it's linked to my current map. When I create a point, I can see the name of the schema at the bottom, but no attributes. Further, if I want to re-create the schema, I can create attributes, but no pick lists. The pick list items will not save. The Active 2's should be updated with the latest Android verson. Does anyone have any ideas what is going on?

Hi Brian!
Thank you for contacting Avenza Support.
I'm sorry to hear of the issue you're experiencing with your attribute schema in the Avenza Maps app. To confirm, when you're importing the KML file into the app, are you using the "Make a Copy" function to copy the layer to other maps within the app?
If so, we are aware of a current issue (on Android devices only) affecting attribute schemas. When copying a layer (containing an attribute schema), the schema itself is retained, however any pick lists will be empty. This issue has been escalated to our Mobile developers, who are actively working on a fix.
However, if you're still experiencing the issue where you're creating a pick list that is not being retained in the app, I would advise to try closing the app, restarting your device, re-opening the app, and trying to create a pick list once more.
If the problem persists, please don't hesitate to file a support request with us. Our Support Team is more than happy to assist you further. Requests can be made here: https://support.avenzamaps.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Also, please note that the Free and Plus versions of the app are for recreational use only. Any commercial, professional, or educational use of the app requires a Pro subscription for each device in use. We do offer educational discounts to lessen the burden of Avenza Maps Pro's financial cost, while providing the excellent features that it comes with to better assist you with your work.
Thank you,
Gabriel
