Hide cross-hair and inset map overview annotations for screenshots
When taking a screenshot of a map, it would be helpful to hide (1) the location identifier cross-hairs in the middle of the screen and (2) the inset map overview annotations so that the area underneath can be seen clearly.
Other annotations such as location, compass and placemark icons hide themselves for screenshots. Thanks.

Hi there,
To hide the crosshair please follow these steps:
- Open Avenza Maps
- Go to Settings > Display
- Select Crosshair Color
- Choose "None" as the Crosshair color
There isn't currently a setting to turn off the inset map. However, you can disable the inset map by turning the collection into a folder
- To do this please navigate to your "My Maps" tab
- Locate the collection folder that the map is stored in
- Tap on the three dots next to the folder and select "Convert to folder."
- If you want to re-enable the inset again, just convert the folder back into a collection!
Let me know if you have any questions or concerns!
