With recent update, no longer ability to show placemark names on map for a screenshot. Previously a tap on placemark showed the name on the map and could be done so that several placemark names appeared on the map.

  Hi David and Marco,

  While you can no longer tap on a placemark or feature to show the lable, you can still view the labels for all features at once. Please follow these steps:

  1. Open the map you want to use and tap the Layers icon at the bottom right.

  2. Tap the three dots at the top right.

  3. Select 'View All Callouts' from the dropdown.

  Agree on the above. New placemark UI may be a cosmetic improvement, but eliminates the ability to show placemark names right in the map, like Google Earth and most other map apps do.

  Thank you, Juan, but what you propose is not quite the same. Before the UI change, one could choose to show only some labels or callouts, while the rest of the placemarks are shown without labels. The "View All Callouts" does what the name says, filling the map with all the features' labels. Some of my maps have dozens of placemarks, so the screen would ve cluttered with labels.

  Below I posted a pic from an older version of Avenza Maps. You can see I have tapped just a few placemarks, and the labels are shown only for these ones. This is very useful, it's a way of highlighting only the features I want.

  This was a feature of Avenza Maps that was deleted from the new version. It's not a request for a new feature.
