Export orientation metadata of photo points

When photos are added to a dropped pin/placemark through the camera roll, they are saved within that point. There is metadata attached then to the photos within the placemarks including Lat/Long, timestamp (basic metadata) and orientation of photo (advanced metadata). I have been able to export the basic metadata of the photos, but have been unable to export the advanced metadata. I'm hoping to use the orientation to create a symbol on the maps to show the direction that the photo was taken in, along with the geographic position.
Has anyone been able to identify how to export the advanced metadata (specifically the photo orientation?
