    Hi There!

Thank you for your post. Other users have accomplished this by exporting the map features with attached photos and for example emailing the file to themselves to open up/import into Google Earth. The following article will guide you - https://support.avenzamaps.com/hc/en-us/articles/4961670100116-Exporting-map-features. If you require further assistance please reach out via https://support.avenzamaps.com/hc/en-us/requests/new. Thank you!

    Hi Edgar,

I've exported features using KML format and can open in Google Earth, which also contains photos. Now I want to export all the images associated with KML to my folder, but I can't find a way to do that.

Your help would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks and regards,

    Yogendra

    Hi There,

To export all the images associated with KML to your folder, I would first suggest reaching out to Google Earth Support, since your work is now focused on their product.

    Hi Edgar,

Thank you very much for your prompt response.

But if I want those photos to be exported from Avenza to my local folder, is there any way to get these photos without going through Google Earth?

    Regards,

    Yogendra

    Hi There,

After exporting the placemarks with photos attached, you can access those photos in the local folder by unzipping or extracting the image files. For example to get your photos in JPG, you can export your layer as KML. Once exported, you will have a KMZ file, which is a zipped file of your KML and photos. After unzipping this file, you will get a KML file and a folder containing all your JPG photos.

    Thank you!

    Regards

    Hi Edgar,

I can export the KMZ file as you've suggested but couldn't see the folder inside. Do you know how to unzip it, actually I don't see unzip option when I right-click the KMZ file?

    Regards,

    Yogendra
