Illegal Character when adding name of Placemark

Entering text into the 'Name' field of a Placemark and regularly get "Name is not valid! It may contain illegal characters!" message. Most often when I type a space between words (which disappears as soon as I start to type the second word. But I also get it when I add an exclamation or question mark. I frequently use the Name field to enter a short sentence that later pops up when I tap a placemark on a map. Can't remember this with the 'older' version. Is this a bug or feature?

  Hi Edward,

  Special characters like ? or ! were found to be causing issues with other functions in the app, so we added new restrictions on which characters can be used in feature names. The issue with the message appearing when you add a space before a 2nd word is a bug that is being addressed in a patch that we hope to release soon.
