In recreation symbols, why is there no Tent symbol to indicate a good camping spot. Hikers often come across good camping spots & wish to drop a symbol to record the location.
Thank you for your post! We do have this filed with our team and I have gone ahead and added your name and email to the request!
In the interim, if you are needing the symbol right away, you can create a KML in Google Earth with different symbols (they don't need to be in accurate locations, just pins dropped on the map with the symbols you want), and then import that into the app. Once you do that the symbols will be available universally across all maps in an "Imported" section of the symbol library.
If you have any questions about this process please don't hesitate to reach out to our team directly using the contact form in the upper right corner of this page!
