Error Opening Global Mapper Export
I am georeferencing a file in Global Mapper (25.1.1) on my windows 11 machine. I have tried both pdf and geotiff exports. After exporting I download the file from Teams onto the files app of my device (iphone 17e, ios 26.4). I then attempt to open in Avenza app on my device and get the following messsage.
"1 map(s) failed to be processed correctly."
No other info is included in the message as to why the error is occuring.
I generally only do this process once a year when we get annual mine reports. This process has worked consistently the past 5 years. I am only now getting this error. Wondering if anyone has experienced the same recently.
Thanks

Hello John,
There are a few things that can be causing this error message. If you have not already, please try the following:
- Delete the failed map import and try downloading it again.
- Refresh your connection to the Map Store/servers:
- Tap the head/bust icon at the top of the My Maps page
- Sign out of your account
- Fully close the app, and restart your device
- Open the app and log back into your account
- Ensure the device has sufficient internal storage. Ideally, 1-2 GBs of storage is still needed, as the map/bundle needs to be processed, which may take up space.
Additionally, instead of downloading the file from Teams to your internal storage, try a different location such as DropBox or Google Drive.
