Placemark Elevation
Users are able to manually fetch elevation data for placemarks collected outside of cellular and WiFi service. Placemarks collected while connected to cellular and WiFi service will have elevation data captured by default. Users can do this for each individual placemark, by tapping on the placemark to view its label, and then tapping the label to view the 'Edit Placemark' page. From here, the user can tap the curved arrow beside the elevation field to generate an elevation value. Alternatively, users may also enter their own custom elevation value by tapping 'Elevation', then 'Edit value' from the drop-down.
Alternatively, the elevation data can be fetched or regenerated for an entire layer. This can be done at the Map Layers page or the general Layers tab. From either location, the user can tap beside the desired layer, and select 'Fetch elevation'. This will show the placemarks in the layer, and from here, the user can tap the curved arrow to fetch or regenerate the elevation values.
