On any map, you can search for existing map features (placemarks, lines or tracks), places online through OpenStreetMap, or coordinates on your current map.
Tap and enter a term into the search box and a list of results will appear below it. This search function can use either existing features on the map or OpenStreetMap to find what you are looking for (e.g. coffee shops). When searching for existing features, the first three results will be shown. If more results are available, select Show more to view more features.
Please note that when searching for locations through OpenStreetMap, these results are limited to what is available through OpenStreetMap. We are not liable for any errors or omissions in this information.
You can also use this search function from the Library page to look for a specific map downloaded in the Maps tab.
Select a matching result from the list. The selected result will automatically add a placemark to the map you are viewing and will appear under OpenStreetMap in the Layers tab.
