How can I get a custom symbol set in Avenza Maps?

Avenza Maps Pro supports the import and management of custom symbol sets.  As part of the Pro subscription, we are able to create symbol sets for you that are easy to import.  Please see the requirements below:

• Must be a current Pro subscriber
• Symbols must be sent in a PNG format
• Symbols must each be either 32x32, 64x64, or 128x128 in size
• Symbols will be named based on file names (i.e. name the individual PNGs what you want the symbols to be called in the app)
• Filenames only support alphanumeric characters (0-9, Aa-Zz).  Special characters (e.g. @,':`,$%&) are not supported
• If you are wanting your symbols to have transparency, you must ensure the PNGs are saved accordingly
• If you are wanting multiple sets with different group names, please ensure these are sent in separate files/folders

Users may submit custom symbol set requests using the Support Contact form, accessed here. There is a field at the bottom where users can upload the appropriate files.

Please note, any custom symbol sets are processed manually by the Avenza Support Team during normal business hours Eastern North America time. When submitting a custom symbol set request, please allow for processing time as the set is being created by one of our Support Team members.
